Call for abstracts
The World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe (WHO/EURO) and Netherlands Institute for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology (NIFP) are inviting abstract submissions for poster presentations for the 2024 Amsterdam WHO Health in Prisons Programme Conference: Mental health and wellbeing in detention centres: prison health is public health, which is co-organised and hosted by the Netherlands Institute for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology (NIFP), as part of the Dutch Custodial Agency and the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security.
Abstract submissions are due no later than midnight GMT on the 14th of March 2024.
We welcome submission of abstracts for poster presentations only. Only abstracts falling into the theme of the conference “Mental health and wellbeing in detention centres: prison health is public health” will be considered. Submissions should be scholarly in nature and offer a clear contribution to new scientific knowledge or public health practice.
